Bachmann Branchline Locomotive – LNER ‘Mayflower’ 1306 Limited Edition, OO Gauge
This superb Bachmann Branchline OO Gauge LNER ‘Mayflower’ steam locomotive and tender is presented in excellent, unused condition and is supplied complete with its clean original wooden collector’s presentation box.
Produced as a strictly limited edition of just 2,000 examples, this model is No. 1964, making it an especially appealing addition to any Bachmann or LNER collection. The locomotive is further enhanced by its distinctive gold-plated ‘Mayflower’ nameplate, adding an elegant premium detail to this highly collectible model.
Finished in the classic LNER green and black livery, the locomotive faithfully captures the appearance of the London & North Eastern Railway during Era 3 – The Big Four (1923–1947). The highly detailed model is accompanied by its matching tender, original figures and accessory pack, providing an excellent level of completeness.
Although unused, the locomotive has been tested and is in excellent running order, operating smoothly in both forward and reverse. All buffers and couplings are present, and the model has been carefully stored and maintained.
The original wooden collector’s presentation box is clean and in excellent condition, making this an equally impressive model for display as well as operation on an OO Gauge layout.

About Bachmann Branchline
Bachmann Branchline is the British OO gauge range from Bachmann, well known among railway modellers for its finely detailed, accurately finished locomotives and rolling stock. Limited edition releases such as this Mayflower are produced in small numbers, often with special finishes and presentation packaging, and are keenly sought after by collectors. A numbered Bachmann Branchline locomotive in unused condition with its original wooden box is a particularly desirable example.
The LNER and the Big Four Era
The London & North Eastern Railway was one of the “Big Four” railway companies formed in 1923, running services along the east side of Britain until nationalisation in 1948. Its distinctive green livery is among the most recognisable in British railway history, and LNER models remain hugely popular with modellers and collectors recreating the golden age of steam.
For Collectors and Layouts Alike
Tested and running smoothly in both directions on analogue DC, this Bachmann Branchline locomotive can be enjoyed on an OO gauge layout or kept as a display piece in its presentation box. Its limited edition number, gold-plated nameplate and completeness make it a superb centrepiece for an LNER collection and a memorable gift for any railway enthusiast.

- Store in the original wooden presentation box, away from damp and direct sunlight.
