The Walkman Legacy

Sony launched the first Walkman in 1979, and it changed the way people listened to music forever, making personal, portable sound part of everyday life. The Sony cassette Walkman became one of the most iconic gadgets of the 1980s and 1990s, and today original working players are highly collectable. With the renewed popularity of cassette tapes and retro audio, demand for genuine Sony Walkman players in good working condition continues to grow.

Why Choose the WM-EX652 Groove?

The Groove models were designed with a bold, punchy sound in mind, and the WM-EX652 combines that with the slim, pocketable styling Sony was known for. Auto Reverse means both sides of a tape play without needing to flip the cassette, which makes it ideal for listening to full albums and mixtapes. Tested and confirmed fully working, this Sony cassette Walkman is ready to enjoy as well as to display in a retro technology collection.

A Great Retro Gift

For anyone who grew up making mixtapes, a working Sony cassette Walkman is a wonderfully nostalgic gift for a birthday or Christmas. It is equally appealing to younger music fans discovering cassettes for the first time and to collectors of vintage Sony audio equipment.
